Although corn flakes equipment has been widely used by everyone, however, there are still some bosses who do not know much about corn flakes equipment.
Raw material selection: corn residue can be used directly. Corn residue should be peeled, de-embryoed, and cleaned and screened. For batch production, corn residue with neat grain shape should be selected for processing.
Soaking: Soak the corn residue in boiling water for 1~2 hours, and control the moisture of the soaked corn residue within 42%.
Steaming: soaked corn residue rinsed with water 3~5 times, into the pressure cooker steaming for about 1 hour, and then naturally lower pressure. After 3~4 hours cooling to room temperature, corn residue grains do not stick to each other, was loose. This state of corn dregs after flaking neat shape, do not stick to the roller.
Tabletting: cooled corn residue directly in the tablet press. Before entering the machine, the moisture of corn residue should be controlled between 35~38%. Roller distance is about 0.3~0.5 millimeters when pressing tablets.
Drying: The pressed corn flakes are placed in the drying box at about 200℃, and the drying time varies according to the thickness of the pressed flakes. After drying, it can be bagged and sold.
